En mi último viaje a la Ciudad de México visité esta exposición titulada «El Arte de la Indumentaria y Moda en México. 1940 – 2015″ la cual nos lleva por un recorrido de años de moda en nuestro país, mezclando el arte popular con el diseño contemporáneo.
En ésta se exhiben más de 400 piezas de colecciones privadas, públicas y de diseñadores tanto nacionales como internacionales. Sin duda alguna las que más llamaron mi atención, saben perfecto que fueron todas estas piezas creadas por artesanos; morrales, rebozos, huipiles, quechquémitl, trajes de novia, tocados y demás.
Durante la exposición no podía dejar de pensar en los espectaculares trajes indígenas que estas personas crean, de verdad que es todo un arte y ¡Estoy fascinada con estos textiles!
Si viven en la CDMX, están de paso o planean ir pronto no dejen de visitar el PALACIO DE CULTURA BANAMEX- PALACIO DE ITURBIDE ubicado en Madero 17, Centro Histórico. La expo es gratis y les aseguro que vale muchísimo la pena.
