El Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (CONACULTA) convoca a través de la Dirección General de Culturas Populares al 7o Concurso Nacional de Fotografía; Tejiendo la naturaleza, Las fibras vegetales de México.

El fin de este concurso es difundir, incentivar y fortalecer el Arte Popular de nuestro país, dando a conocer y preservando estas ramas artesanales para futuras generaciones. En esta edición el tema está enfocado en las fibras vegetales que dentro de México tenemos para crear todo tipo de objetos; desde canastas hasta juguetes, muebles y zapatos.

Podrá participar cualquier persona que resida en el país sin distinción de sexo, edad, ni nacionalidad, exceptuando a los trabajadores del CONACULTA. Cada participante podrá presentar un máximo de 5 fotografías que pueden ser en color o blanco y negro, de formato análogo o digital.

Los premios son:

primer lugar $40,000.00

segundo lugar $25,000.00

tercer lugar $15,000.00

National Photography Competition
Weaving nature. Vegetable fibers of Mexico

The National Council for Culture and Arts (CONACULTA) calls through the Department of Popular Cultures the 7th National Photography Competition; Weaving nature. Vegetable fibers of Mexico.

The purpose of this contest is to promote, encourage and strengthen the popular art of Mexico, raising awareness and preserving these crafts branches for future generations. This year the theme is focused on vegetable fibers into Mexico, which serves for create all kinds of objects; from baskets to toys, furnitures and shoes.
Any person residing in Mexico City regardless of sex, age or nationality, except CONACULTA workers will be able to participate. Each participant may submit a maximum of five photographs, that can be in color or black and white, analogue or digital format.
The prizes are:
First $40,000.00
Second $25,000.00
Third $15,000.00
